Well here I am sitting under a tree in the park just about to start reading war and peace on my iPhone. I thought I make my first ebook a challenge. Stanza is a great app and very useable.

People in LA really don't like standing near each other while waiting for the bus. Look at the equal spacing between them, is this a LA 'my personal space' rule.

time to pack my bags as its time for the monkey boy to head across the pond, back to LA and then down to Texas, which should be fun as when i looked this morning it was 36C or 96F for our imperic cousins and I just love the sun. so expect the normal on off posting. stay safe

Went to see the La clippers vs Memphis grizzlies last night, La won which was good but a weird game. most people more intrested on getting on TV than watching the game and the thought of drinking Budweiser again....eeeekkkkk

Part of me thinks, where were the Assistants who do the crowd control and did the director even tell the authorities that they were filming in the area??...Of course not, probably another production on the cheap thinking they can get away with it,

----- The director of an Angolan crime film says police have shot dead two of his actors after mistaking them for real armed robbers.

The duo were carrying unloaded firearms as they filmed a scene in a rough suburb of the capital Luanda, director Radical Ribeiro told AFP news agency.

He said police roared up to the set and began shooting at close range.

Angolan officials have not commented on the incident. Mr Ribeiro says he had permission to film in the area.

Mr Ribeiro told AFP that police arrived at the scene in a pick-up truck and "started shooting at everybody at close range".

He was "stunned" when he saw the two actors fall down, he added.

"They went on shooting until I shouted out: 'Please don't shoot, this is a movie.'"

The officers then stopped firing and left without attending to the wounded, who were taken to hospital, Mr Ribeiro said.

The Cubika broke this morning and I wasn't happy. So ever the engineer I open her up and it turns out that limescale had created a air pocket in the pipe that was stopping the water pumping. A little tweal if the pipe to break the limescale and we are back in caffine heaven. Now time for a coffee

Well it seem they decided to put up a poster of a scantily clad Billie Piper in one of the most conservative neighborhoods in London. Someone seems to have taken offense to the poster and covered it in White Gloss. Some one really doesn't like billie piper

Due to the tube strike yesterday I had to stay at a friends as it wasn't worth getting home and all the hassle that it was bound to be getting back to East London. So I got the No. 8 buses in this morning to work in Soho. Well that was until I got to Holborn and the traffic started to crawl and I mean crawl. I got off the bus and started walking and strolled a lot faster than any bus up to the top of New Oxford Street and this was the view that greeted me, it buses backed up all down the road. 

It wasn't till I got to the top of the queue of buses there was about another 5 or six all lined up that I could see the cause of the monumental tailback all down New Oxford Street into Holborn which had held traffic up for about twenty minutes and what had made this massive queue of traffic. The picture below is what greeted me. Oh joy a inconsiderate flat bed truck driver from Stanmore Quality Surfacing. The driver had just pulled out over the box juncation and tried to bully his way in, turn on his flashing amber lights to try and get traffic to move, I think they better get their drivers to read up on they Highway Code and not inflict more misery of the general public while the system is already understrain from the tube strike. Thank for making me incredibly late for work I hope you had a great start to the day too.

Today was a day for a bit of culture, Gaudi supplied it in droves. What an amazing building I'm never seen a church on this scale being built you normally see them 100 of years after they were finished. Lovely building.

Stanley makes himself at home in Barcelona

There is nothing like a photograph and nothing brings back memories than standing there seeing the place again,  While I was in Central Park, New York I popped down to the lake and tried to recreate one of my favorite photos. It was taken in 2002 when I was in New York with friends

Its now 2007 and I've gone digital, over film and colour over black and white...i made it a mission to take the shot again.

This was a shot i took over the weekend, i personally think its great

The monkey has landed, again. In the surreal work that is Los Angeles who joys does this town have in wait for me, its always eventful and fun.

Today I had two days off in Washington DC before heading to NAB in las Vegas, This is my fav photo I took while out today, it from the Lincoln Memorial looking out over the Reflectling Pool down to the Washington Monument.
